Jen O'Farrell

Jen O’Farrell’s abstract works interrogate the material and conceptual intersections between urban infrastructures and natural terrains through the use of site-sourced materials. O’Farrell’s process-driven surfaces articulate transformation as a material condition, positioning fragility as a dynamic state of endurance rather than decline. By embedding locality within the work’s structure, O’Farrell’s practice offers a critical reflection on ecological decline, extraction, and the continual negotiation between human and environmental systems.
